Communal thinking is always victorious!
The Education faculty has held its first edupres seminar regarding research students pretentions at level of masters and PhD from the 25th to the 27th of November, 2008.
The seminar proved above all that we can learn more in gathering rather than being isolated in general, as those PhD students who are separated from each other , each of them involved with his/her own particular affairs.
Some of the advantages of such a public meeting are finding new friends, sharing ideas, gaining encouragement and enthusiasm, and for those who come from overseas, becoming more familiar with cultural and academic meetings in the host country.
I myself got precious opportunities to see, oh there are many friends doing PhDs in my field! and how nice it is to be exposed to their efforts and mind products to motivate myself.
I hope this newborn bud will be able to sprout many green and cheerful branches – meeting-so we can benefit from its cool shade at least once a month. In addition, I suggest to my Tesl PhD fellows meet each other more and keep in touch with each other.
At the end I should express my gratitude to those dear people in the education faculty who made an effort to bring this idea into realization and special thanks to Dr. Zaidatun .
We are looking forward to hearing your suggestions and meeting each other soon.
